While Zentools is mostly easy to configure, we have added preset and default options to make it even easier to get up and running. Now it's simply a matter of clicking a few buttons and you can replicate any of the default layouts we showcase on the Zentools demo site.
The Zentools module is a unified Joomla 2.5 / 3+ package and can be installed via the Joomla installer in any version of Joomla.
1. In your site's admin navigate to extensions > extensions manager.
2. Browse for the Zen Tools module zip that you have already downloaded.
3. Click upload and install.
4. Once this has been completed successfully you will be able to create a new instance of the module in the module manager.
The Zentools module provides the ability to create columns within each individual item - regardless of the overall layout you have chosen. This means that you can create complex layouts - up to 4 columns per item - all with the ease of using drag and drop.
The Zentools module uses a slick drag and drop interface for determining which elements you need to load on the page.
The available elements depends on the content source you use eg - images from a folder, content or k2. The elements populate dynamically according to this selection.
Zentools is a commercial Joomla extension licensed under the GPL v2 license.
You are free to use this extension on an unlimited number of sites. We provide download access and support for this module to users with a current subscription to our template club.
